This baby gaur will grow as tall as six feet and weigh more than two thousand pounds! Gaurs are the only wild ox known not to attack frontally with its horns. Proud Mom "Nicole" gave birth to "Michael" on November 15, 2010. You may have thought having a porcupine baby might have been a little uncomfortable or downright "ouch" for Mom, but young are born with soft spines that will later harden to become stiff quills. Don't let the soft appearance of the newborn fool you, just days after birth they will begin climbing on their own. Fun Fact - Did you know that prehensile-tailed porcupines are nocturnal animals that have long whiskers on their face and feet that help them feel their way around at night?
